Quick Tips

Premium Members of The Drippy Tap will receive 2 Quick Tips each month. These are short articles up to 100 words long.

The Quick Tips are very handy for:

  • Social media updates

  • A short tips column in your newsletter

  • Blog posts

  • Helpful tips in your networking meeting speeches.

Here are some examples of Quick Tips:

Are you following up every sales lead?

The key to converting referrals and enquiries into sales is to follow up promptly and thoroughly.

Be sure to enter every sales lead into your Task management system, and have an email or phone script ready so that you’re asking all the right questions, and giving all the right information.

Happy customer? Then ask for a testimonial

Testimonials are very powerful in your marketing, but it can be daunting to ask for them.

The ideal time to ask is when the client is thrilled with what you’ve done for them.

That’s the time to ask... and they’ll nearly always say yes.

How to save time by using email scripts

Save time by having scripts for the emails you regularly send.

You could have an email script for:

  • Those vague inbound enquiries

  • When you’ve received a referral

  • Confirming a meeting

  • Following up after a meeting, and so on.

This will save you many, many hours of typing over the course of a year. And it’ll save your brain for more important tasks!

Batch your tasks for greater efficiency

Group like tasks together for improved efficiency.

That means making all your calls in one session; zapping your emails in a set time frame; preparing a whole batch of parcels together; and so on.

It’s a lot more efficient working in this way, rather than doing things in dribs and drabs as you’ll be more focused and will work faster.

And if you'd like more marketing articles, you'll get a fresh and tasty batch each month when you become a member of The Drippy Tap.

A whole year's worth of articles for the price of one!

It's a fact: regular value-added communications increase your sales and referrals.

The Drippy Tap makes those communications easy - and affordable!

What customers say...

"I was concerned it would be obvious that I'm using 'stock' articles"

"I was concerned that the articles from The Drippy Tap would look too 'artificial' and not fit in with my own style of writing. As a web designer, I also wondered if the article topics would suit my target niche (small business website owners). And I really didn't want anyone to recognise that the articles were 'stock' articles.

But I needn't have worried at all. As a web designer, I use stock photos all the time. And I never worry about that seeming 'artificial' - after all, only sites with a really huge budget can afford to do a bunch of photo shoots just for their website. The stock photos always fit into the design because they're relevant to the content of the page. And the same is true when it comes to using The Drippy Tap articles. Because they're relevant to small business owners, they naturally fit seamlessly into my eZine and blog.

I also don't worry about other people using the same stock photos as I do. Cornelia has even gone so far as to limit the number of The Drippy Tab subscribers in each country, so I have no fear that anyone will ever notice that I didn't write the article myself. And I can always add my own introduction or conclusion, or re-phrase the article slightly if I ever wanted to.

So now, whenever I don't have time to sit down and write out a whole article for my eZine, I can easily use one of The Drippy Tap articles. And if I want to quickly add some fresh content to my blog, I can use one of Cornelia's Quick Tips or Quotes. It's such a time-saver. And now I no longer have any excuses to not publish them regularly. I would highly recommend this service to professionals and freelancers who serve small business owners.

It's a win/win scenario. My subscribers get awesome help with their marketing (even in areas a little outside of my design expertise, like time management), and I get more credibility and trust from them by supplying them with such useful information."
